Our cooked Local Rock Crab claws are processed and cooked in house to make for an easy dining experience. Simply crack open the claws and enjoy with drawn butter, cocktail sauce or another condiment of your choosing. California Rock Crab are similar to the extremely popular Florida stone crab commonly seen on the East Coast.
At home, we recommend opening the claws with the back of a standard metal spoon or chef knife to crack the claws and remove the succulent meat. Typically a couple good whacks should do it!
These claws are typically served chilled, which allows the meat to slip free of the shell easily, and also gives it a finer, clearer flavor
